An Australian Aboriginal dancer after performing at the Wollumbin Dreaming Festival, stands in front of Mount Warning, known in the language of the local Bunjalung people as Wollumbin, which means Fighting Chief of the Mountain.

In today’s SMH there ran article where it was revealed that many AFL club recruiters privately admitted to not drafting indigenous player unless there was at least one white parent. THe reason being that indigenous players were a difficult management issue as highlighted by the recent debacle with Liam Jurrah. Whoever said racism was dead in Australia?

On my boarded travels around Melbourne I found an indigenous Aboriginal showcase of tribal dances, it was part of their festival around Federation Square. Very insightful, loved every part of it.
